FUJIFILM House of Photography Photo Competition 2026

We want you to look up and show us Life As You See it


This year, we're inviting entrants to explore the concept of authenticity through their photography. Please submit a series of five images that are connected and convey a genuine sense of the present moment. We encourage viewers to look up from their phones. Your photos can reflect anything related to family, friends, holidays, or any other theme that captures authenticity, that shows us Life As You See It.

Competition Overview

Winners and shortlisted will be featured in our summer exhibition.

Each entry must include:

- Five Images
- A short description (250-500 words) outlining the theme and narrative of the photos.

Entries for the FUJIFILM House of Photography competition are now closed

Photos can be taken using any camera (for example, a Fujifilm camera, film camera, or an iPhone). This competition is open to everyone, whether you’re an amateur or a professional. We want you to share your vision of life with us. Creativity is what we value, not just technicality.

Our judges* will be looking at how well the brief is met and selecting the projects that best capture authenticity.

Submissions Open: 1st of March 2026

Submissions Close: 30th of May 2026

What must you do to enter?


- Images must be your own.

- You must have permission from all of those depicted in your images where distinguishable.

Andrew Sanigar

Andrew Sanigar is Editorial Director, Photography at Thames & Hudson, where his role is to develop T&H’s programme of photography publications, including both retrospective, project-based and contemporary monographs alongside anthologies and surveys of histories and themes in photography.

Andrew has commissioned publications from and worked with a range of artists, photographers, institutions and archives, including Edward Burtynsky, Nan Goldin, Josef Koudelka, Mona Kuhn, Ishiuchi Miyako, Daido Moriyama, Anastasia Samoylova, William Wegman, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The Saul Leiter Foundation and Magnum Photos.

Nicky Hamilton

Nicky Hamilton is a photographer and director renowned for his cinematic approach to image-making, blending meticulous craftsmanship with powerful visual storytelling. A former Head of Art at M&C Saatchi, his work spans advertising, entertainment, healthcare, and editorial campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands and agencies.

As a Fujifilm X-Photographer, Nicky is part of a select group of photographers representing the brand globally. Working primarily with the Fujifilm GFX system, he combines technical precision with a filmic aesthetic to create images that feel both timeless and contemporary.

Dazhané Fleming

Dazhané Fleming
Photographer / Content Creator / instax ™ Brand Ambassador

Dazhané Leah is a content creator and former fashion photographer whose work has been featured in Teen Vogue, BBC, and Buzzfeed. She studied fashion photography at University of the Arts London (UAL) and went on to work across brands, celebrities, and influencers.

Her passion for photography was rooted in a desire to see greater representation of Black women in the industry - both in front of and behind the camera. That eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling now shapes her work as a content creator, bringing a photographer's perspective to every shoot and campaign.

An X half camera, an instax™, and a print of their work.

Shortlisted will have their work featured in our summer exhibition held at the FUJIFILM House of Photography in Covent Garden and opening in July 2026. First winner will also win a selection of five books from the Photofile series, published by Thames and Hudson.
