There’s no better way to develop your photography skills than to get practical. But that can be easier said than done when you don’t have ready access to a dedicated photography studio.
And if you’re in need of a professional photography studio in London, why not book our very own FUJIFILM House of Photography?
Ideal for avid enthusiasts and experienced photographers alike, our photo studio at the FUJIFILM House of Photography provides a professional space at an accessible price. Equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and backdrops, it’s the perfect location for a range of projects — from product images and portraits to fashion shoots and more abstract work. It offers a versatile blank canvas so you can bring your vision to life and create images you’ll be forever proud of.
What can you expect to see from the space?
We recognise that lighting is not only essential in making great images, but lights can also be tricky and time-consuming to rig.
To make your lighting setup a breeze, we have a two-light Profoto set-up featuring impressive Profoto B10 heads. These powerful lighting units provide you with the flexibility to illuminate your subjects with precision and control. Accompanied by a great range of modifiers, you can shape and mould the light to create the desired atmosphere and aesthetic for your shoot. Speak to the team about additional units, which may be available upon request.
You’ll also find two Rotolight Neo 3 kits ready and waiting for you. These offer an impressive option for those looking to use continuous light and can be an excellent resource for videographers. You can easily adjust and control the lighting to suit your mood and style, for professional results without spending your valuable studio time on getting things ready.
And if you need wraparound lighting, we have large softboxes to produce beautifully diffused and even lighting — they’re perfect for achieving a flattering and natural look. Alternatively, if you’re after something more dramatic and focused, we have reflectors, grids, and snoots available to help create stunning hard light effects.
Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own lights — either to add to the setup or to use instead. So if you’ve got a particular piece of equipment in mind, bring it along.
A blank space can be great for some photography shoots but sometimes it’s nice to change things up a bit. Explore an even greater range of possibilities with the studio’s two Click Props Backdrops Motorised Roller systems. These state-of-the-art systems make switching between different backdrops quick and seamless, so you can enjoy a streamlined workflow.
We also have three MAGNA-fix systems so you can adapt the studio to suit your theme or concept.
Whether you’re going for a classic, minimal look or require a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, there are 39 different backgrounds to choose from. They’re quicker than ever to switch between, so you can get the most out of your studio hire time.
With 10m x 5m (544 square feet) to play with, the studio has plenty of space to get creative. A styling section means you can get prepped and ready in comfort and keep everything organised — whether that’s storing costumes and outfits or doing hair and makeup at the dressing table area.
And don’t forget to take a break between shoots — relax and revive in the handy refreshment area before getting back to your image making. This is also a great way to give models, make up artists, and stylists a well-deserved rest in between shots.
What’s more, the studio is tucked away in the basement of our expansive House of Photography and features blackout capabilities and soundproofing to ensure you can focus in peace. But don’t worry, our photo experts are just upstairs, so support from the FUJIFILM team is never far away.
Is there any FUJIFILM equipment you’ve been waiting to try? Our GFX and X-H2 cameras are available to use for free during your studio hire period, along with a selection of different lenses. This gives you the chance to test-drive some of our best-loved equipment without the hassle and expense of purchasing or renting it separately. Well, you can when you hire our photography studio. You’ll gain complimentary access to an impressive range of FUJIFILM cameras and lenses so you can get hands-on experience and see which work best for your projects.
Our photography studio's central location in the heart of London ensures easy access for both local professionals and those travelling from afar. You'll find yourself conveniently surrounded by a vibrant city atmosphere and a wealth of local amenities just waiting to support your artistic process. Need a coffee fix or a delicious meal during breaks? No problem. Everything you need is within reach, allowing you to focus on what you do best: creating remarkable images.
But that's not all. The studio is also located just downstairs from our dedicated camera shop — so you’ll have FUJIFILM experts on hand to help out with any equipment queries. The team will always be available to offer technical support as well as professional guidance.
So, whether you're an experienced professional or an aspiring talent hoping to put your skills into practice, the FUJIFILM House of Photography studio is your ideal destination. And did we mention that when you hire our photography studio you can get your photos printed the same day in-store? Head upstairs after your shoot and we’ll get high-quality prints sorted for you right away.
Ready to discover our photography studio for yourself? It’s available to hire from 11am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday. If you need longer, however, we can always arrange extended hours — just get in touch to discuss your needs.
