Your images, Life As You See It, now exclusively on display at FUJIFILM House of Photography in Covent Garden.
From Friday 24th July until Friday 21st August, you can come and see the 120 shortlisted works from this year's Photo Competition, here at the FUJIFILM House of Photography in Covent Garden. It's free to come in, and you'll find the work in our gallery space and on the first floor.
Over 1,000 people entered this year. We narrowed it down to 120, and those are the ones on show.
What's on show
We asked for one thing: look up, and show us Life As You See It. Each project is a series of five connected images that convey a genuine sense of the present moment. Think family, friends, holidays, or whatever felt real enough to point a camera at.
The competition was open to anyone, amateur or professional, and entrants could use any camera, from a FUJIFILM to a phone.
Judged by
Three judges chose the shortlist. Andrew Sanigar, Editorial Director, Photography at Thames & Hudson; Nicky Hamilton, Fujifilm X-Photographer and Head of Art; and Dazháné Fleming, photographer, content creator and instax™ brand ambassador. They were looking at how well each project met the brief, and how true it felt.
The winners aren't out yet. We'll add the top three here as soon as they're announced, so keep an eye on this page or come in-store to see them for yourself.
The prizes
First place is a FUJIFILM X-T30III™ camera, an instax™ camera, a print of their work and five books from the Photofile series published by Thames & Hudson. Second and third each receive an X half camera, an instax™ camera and a print of their work.
Highly collectible, the Photofile series brings together some of the world's greatest photographers in one accessible set.
