Ready to trade up?

Your current FUJIFILM camera could be worth more than you think. With our new Trade Up scheme, you can bring it into the FUJIFILM House of Photography, find out what it's worth, and put that value straight towards the latest model; all in a single visit.

How it works

Trading up is simple. Here's what to expect when you come in:

1. Bring in your camera - Visit us in store and hand your FUJIFILM camera over to one of our team. No appointment needed, you can just walk in.
2. We carry out a health check- Our experts will assess your camera thoroughly. The inspection takes around 30 minutes and will determine its condition and value.
3. Receive your instant valuation - Once the check is complete, we'll give you a fair and honest valuation. There's no obligation to accept this valuation. If you're happy with the valuation, great. If not, you're free to take your camera home.
4. Trade up today - Happy with your valuation? We'll load the full valuation amount as credit, which you can use the same day against any new camera in store. That's it.

What's eligible?

To take part in Trade Up, your camera must be:

• A FUJIFILM camera (selected models — see our eligible models list below);
• In full working condition; and
• Brought into the store in-person

Please note this scheme is available in-store only and cannot be used online. Cameras with significant damage may not be eligible for a valuation.

Good to know:

• The health check takes approximately 30 minutes;
• After inspection, your valuation is instant;
• There's no obligation to proceed once you have your valuation;
• Your credit must be redeemed on the day you accept the valuation; and
• Credit can be used against any new FUJIFILM camera in-store.

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Infinite Group Limited (herein referred to as “Infinite”) and you with respect to you using the trade up service (which involves you selling your existing FUJIFILM camera to Infinite if you purchase a new camera) offered at The House of Photography located at 8,9 Long Acre, London WC2E 9LH (“Trade Up Service”).

Infinite reserve the right to change these terms and conditions (herein referred to as “Terms”) at any time. We recommend that you check these Terms immediately before you use the Trade Up Service to ensure you are familiar with the up-to-date version.

Please read these Terms carefully. You must comply with these Terms to access the Trade Up Service. You will be asked to sign a copy of these Terms when you commence the Trade Up Process which will create a binding legal agreement between you and Infinite.

Definitions

1. In these Terms the following expressions shall have the following meanings unless otherwise stated:

“Camera” means the FUJIFILM camera you own and which you want to trade up which must be included in the current range of cameras on our eligible models list below.

“House of Photography” means the FUJIFILM House of Photography retail store located at 8, 9 Long Acre, Covent Garden London WC2E 9LH

“Trade Up Service” means the service defined in Clause 2.

2. The Trade Up Service Process

You can offer to sell us your Camera. We will, if possible, give you a valuation on a camera not currently included in our range of cameras.  We will tell you if this is not possible. If we can give you a valuation then the term “Camera” shall apply to that camera throughout these Terms.

 Below is the Trade Up Service process:

a) Bring the Camera into the House of Photography during the hours of 11:00 am – 17:00 pm Monday to Saturday, or 12:00 pm – 17:00 pm on Sunday. These times may vary during Bank Holidays.

b) Come to the reception and request the Trade Up Service;

c) Infinite aims to inspect the Camera within thirty minutes; however, without affecting any rights, Infinite cannot make any guarantee as to how long the inspection will take.

d) Infinite will then calculate a valuation for the Camera. The condition of the Camera and the valuation provided by Infinite are final.

e) You have no obligation to accept this valuation and can leave the store with your Camera.

f) If you are happy with the valuation and wish to continue with the Trade Up Service, Infinite will provide a potential credit of the amount of the valuation, for use only as part of your purchase of a new camera.

g) Once you have decided which new camera you wish to purchase, Infinite will purchase the Camera from you at the same time as you purchase your new camera from Infinite, the price for your new camera being the difference between the amount of the credit and the retail cost of the new camera. The other terms and conditions applicable to the sale of the new camera to you are not contained in these Terms – please ask Infinite if you have any questions. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the new camera sale terms and conditions, these Terms shall apply.  

h) The purchase of the new camera (as detailed in clause 2(g) above) must be made exclusively using a debit or credit card only.

i) Once the purchase of the new camera has concluded, you cannot return it or get a refund for it or re-purchase the Camera, unless Clause 4 applies.

3. Conditions of the Trade Up Service

The following conditions apply to any sale of the Camera to Infinite:

a) You must be the rightful owner of the Camera offered and/or have the right to offer the Camera as part of the Trade Up Services. If it is discovered that you are not the rightful owner of the Camera, clause 3(i) applies.

b) You must ensure all data (including personal data), memory, content or similar is removed from the Camera before accessing the Trade Up Services.

c) You are responsible for ensuring that the Camera you offer has been legally imported into the European Union. If you are the first purchaser of the Camera, we may require you to provide a VAT receipt as proof of the first purchase. If you are the second purchaser of the Camera, we reserve the right to request further information.

d) Infinite are not obliged to accept any and/or all camera(s), but are entitled to refuse to provide the Trade Up Service in its own discretion. Upon purchase of a new camera, ownership of the Camera is irrevocably transferred to Infinite with immediate effect, unless Clause 4 applies. 

e) Such valuation is not a binding offer by Infinite.

f) Without affecting any other rights, as part of the detailed check of the Camera, we reserve the right to carry out the following:

i - Removal of stickers, personal dedications or addresses, packaging, especially if soiled or damaged or where it is not the original packaging for the item;
ii - Removal of lens coats and/or filters;
iii - Removal of any third-party accessories such as collars and hoods; 
iv - Removal of protective films, covers, screen protectors;
v - Opening of wrapped or packaged products and accessories for testing purposes;
vi - Removal of peripheral items such as memory cards and filters if these are not a model that Infinite is able to make an offer on;
vii - Removal of any dirt;
viii - Removal of packing materials;
ix - Disposal of damaged, swollen, non-functional batteries or batteries with reduced recharge capacity; 
x - Disposal of damaged cables and/or chargers; 
xi - Disposal of any other accessories that are so damaged that Infinite judges that they are not fit for sale; 
xii - Attaching a removable sticker or safety labels to relevant places; or
xiii - Similar activities as part of the checking process

These minor changes will not be reversed if the Trade Up Service is not completed and we return the Camera to you, or if the Camera is returned in accordance with Clause 4.  Infinite will not be liable where any data (including personal data), memory, content or similar is lost during the inspection.

g) The credit is only valid on the day of the valuation. You will not receive this credit for any other purpose; Infinite will use it to calculate the price you will pay for the new camera.

h) You are not entitled to receive the credit where the Trade Up Service has not been completed.

i) If it is discovered that you are not the rightful owner of the Camera, or Infinite has reasonable grounds to suspect that the Camera is stolen, Infinite reserves the right to (i) refuse to perform, or to cease performing the Trade Up Services without incurring any liability, and (ii) charge the debit or credit card used (in accordance with clause 2(h) for the credit value if the Trade Up Service has already been completed.  

4. Returns and Refunds

a) You are not entitled to return the new camera and receive a refund of the monies paid for the new camera or receive the Camera back where you simply change your mind.

b) If you discover the new camera is faulty or broken, bring it into the House of Photography, and we will fix it or replace it for free as the new camera will be covered by the usual FUJIFILM camera warranty. If you would prefer a refund for your faulty or broken camera, you only have 30 days from the date the Trade Up Service concludes to bring the camera back to the House of Photography. You will be refunded the money you paid, and ownership of the Camera will be transferred back to you so you can take it with you. For the avoidance of doubt, you are not entitled to receive the amount of the credit instead of the Camera.

c) Once the 30-day period referred to in paragraph 4(b) above has expired, ownership of the Camera irrevocably transfers to Infinite and the Camera will not be returned to you.
