The FUJINON XF50mmF1.0 R WR delivers fast and accurate focusing thanks to both its dedicated DC autofocus motor and the increased amount of light delivered to the sensor. An exceptionally sensitive maximum -7EV* is delivered and, combined with the X Series hybrid AF system’s Face/Eye AF modes, it’s easy to achieve critical focus, even when shooting at the lens’s minimum focusing distance.

This mid-telephoto focal length makes it great for subjects such as portrait, weddings and lifestyle and its maximum F1.0 aperture also allows for unrivalled light-gathering abilities, granting the ability to shoot with faster shutter speeds and keep images sharp in challenging lighting, like night scenes or dimly lit interiors. More light also means ISO settings can be lower if desired, or increased to give subject-stopping power in low-light situations.
Used at or near to its maximum F1.0 aperture, the XF50mmF1.0 R WR creates rich and smooth blur like no other X Series lens. This ultra-shallow depth-of-field and creamy bokeh means it’s easy to give portraits a professional look, separating the subject from distracting background or foreground elements, and take images with a striking, three-dimensional quality.
As one of Fujifilm’s WR designated lenses, the XF50mmF1.0 R WR is weather sealed in 11 locations to protect it against moisture and dust, as well as being capable of use in freezing temperatures down to -10°C.
