Photography student or content creator, if you're serious about your craft, Student Event is where you sharpen your skills, meet people who make things for a living, and get your hands on the latest Fujifilm technology before anyone else does. Event Sessions

Student Event runs across two sessions on the same evening, so pick whichever fits your calendar:

 

Session 1: 5:30pm – 7:30pm

Session 2: 8:00pm – 10:00pm

 

Each session has 100 tickets available, with 48 portfolio review slots per session reserved for Premium ticket holders. It's a student night with a genuinely creative edge, so book your session and make an evening of it.

Guest Talk

Nabeela Zaman and Ray Roberts, founders of the Occasians community, present a 30-minute talk (25 minutes of content, 5 minutes of questions) on demystifying the industry through social media. Post with Purpose: Build Your Creative Career Through Social Media. Expect personal, practical stories, not a panel, about how something as simple as an Instagram post can open doors.

Film Director and Photographer, Ray Roberts and Nabeela Zaman, CEO of British Bangla Welfare Trust and a creative Content Creator, explore how social media can help you find your voice, shape your creative identity and secure your own opportunities. Through personal stories and practical insights. They’ll show how sharing your work with purpose can attract an audience, connect you with clients and even build a community around your passions.

Both are the founders of Occasians, a London-based creative community that supports and celebrates Asian artists and creatives, running everything from networking nights and concerts to panel discussions and photowalks.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have purchased a ticket, your place on the day will be reserved. If circumstances change and you need to cancel your place, please let us know 10 working days before the event and we will be happy to issue you a refund in full. Places cancelled after this time are non-refundable. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 in order to take part in the experience. In case of emergency on the day, please email houseofphotography@fujifilm.com

What does each ticket include?
General Admission gets you one talk, shopping discounts and prize draw entry. Premium Admission adds a scheduled portfolio review, the VIP Touch & Try experience and double prize draw entries, on top of everything in General.
How do the portfolio reviews work?
Photography portfolio reviews are a Premium-only perk, pre-booked within your chosen session. There are 48 review slots per session, and they go first come, first served, so don't sit on it.
Can I book both sessions?

Each ticket gives you the chance to book one time slot during the evening: either 5.30pm to 7.30pm or 8.00pm to 10.00pm. Both slots include access to the same talk, prize draws, discounts, and portfolio reviews. Please make sure to grab your Premium Ticket if you want to participate in the portfolio review and enjoy the other exclusive perks reserved for premium ticket holders. Your portfolio review slot will be assigned when you check in at the store.
How do Premium ticket holders book their portfolio review slot?

Portfolio review slots are booked at the time of the premium ticket purchase and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when you check in at the store. You will have the chance to choose between two portfolio reviewers from six great photographers, agency representatives, and marketing experts. Each session will last 10 minutes and will give you the opportunity to receive the best advice.
What should I bring to my portfolio review?

Bring a tight selection of your best work, printed or on a laptop or tablet, ready to talk through with your reviewer. You'll only get 5 minutes with each portfolio reviewer, so choose carefully and make every minute count.
Are the Fujifilm student discounts only available on the night?

Yes. At our Student Event, you get 16% off instead of the usual 10%, applied across the board on instax™, X Series and GFX. That's alongside bundle deals, 50% off printing and studio discounts, all valid on the night.
Is the event accessible?

Yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible and we have an accessible lift to all floors.
