When it comes to capturing the colour and energy of everyday life in the UK, London-based street photographer Joshua Edgoose is a force to be reckoned with. In this three-part masterclass, you’ll get the rare opportunity to spend 1-2-1 time with Josh, learning all about the secrets of his approach, testing our latest equipment (including the new FUJIFILM GFX100RF), and mastering the art of colour to capture bold street photography images that draw people in and hold their gaze just a little longer.
Going by the alias spicy.meatball on Instagram, and known as one half of street photography YouTube channel Framelines, photographer Josh Edgoose has built up a loyal following online for his joyful, vibrant street shots that beautifully capture the essence of urban spontaneity and human connection.
Having had work featured by The Guardian, I-D, Apple, and more, Josh has an intimate understanding of what it is that makes an evocative photo, and uses bold hues to complement his subjects and scenes for a film-like dreaminess that draws you into each frame.
As well as being an official FUJIFILM X-Photographer, Josh has collaborated with brands such as Squarespace, ustwo games, and Ted Baker, showcasing his natural versatility and unique appeal in the photography world.
This is a dynamic three-part masterclass that includes a presentation and discussion with Josh, a guided photowalk with mini challenges, and an editing session with a Q&A.

You’re welcome to bring along your usual set-up, but if you’re curious to try something new, we’ll have a range of the latest FUJIFILM cameras and lenses on hand, including the X-T5, Josh’s go-to camera for capturing colour on the streets.
If there’s a specific X Series or GFX camera you’ve had your eye on and want to purchase, you can reach out to us at fujifilm_schoolUK@fujifilm.com or call 0203 486 4610 ahead of time, and we’ll do our best to have it ready for you on the day. Prefer to try before you buy? You can loan a camera from our House of Photography and test it out for up to two days.
As with any London outing, we recommend dressing for changeable weather and wearing comfortable shoes made for walking. There will be a scheduled break to rest and recharge, but do bring water and snacks to stay fuelled while we’re out on the streets.

Your workshop leaders are fully first aid trained for outdoor sessions and will carry a complete kit with them throughout the day.
