Hat has worked in photography for over 25 years and founded Lucid Representation, a photography representation and production agency, in 2008. She regularly reviews portfolios for the Association of Photographers and works closely with photographers on how they present their work. Ian Dawson, Photographer, Photojournalist and Visual Storyteller
Ian began in regional newsrooms and has since worked in some of the most remote landscapes on Earth. In 2025 he was made a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society for his contribution to visual storytelling, and this October he launches Midnight Sun, a new photography book made with fellow photographer Sue Flood.

How the reviews work on the night
Premium ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet two reviewers from the list above, with five minutes of feedback from each, ten minutes in total. Slots are first come, first served, so please prepare your portfolio and have your work ready in advance!
Five minutes goes fast, so it’s best to prepare before the night. Bring your strongest work and have a short pitch ready: a few sentences on who you are and what you’re trying to achieve. Think about what you most want feedback on, whether that’s presentation or next steps, so the conversation gets straight to what’s useful for you.
