Prime performance
Providing a full-frame equivalent focal length of 609mm, the XF400mmF4.5’s fixed-focal-length construction enables a wider maximum aperture and lighter overall weight than a similarly ranged zoom lens – helping users freeze the action with higher shutter speeds and making it a more portable prospect for long days in the field.
It joins two other X Series primes, the FUJINON XF200mmF2 R LM OIS WR and XF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR, as part of a brilliant lineup of high-performance optics. They’re ideal for sports, wildlife and action photographers who prefer to work with the analogue-inspired tactility offered by Fujifilm cameras.

Professional features
The XF400mmF4.5 is designed to keep pace with the most high-performance X Series cameras. A quiet linear motor drives the lens’s focusing element, integrating perfectly with the latest AI-enabled subject detection algorithms, while its advanced optical construction allows it to resolve for the range’s high-resolution 40.2-megapixel sensors.
For handheld photography, an advanced Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) system provides up to 5.5 stops of compensation, reducing the effect of camera shake for sharper photos.
