Guests:

Rebecca Douglas: Official Fujifilm X Photographer

Rebecca Douglas is a visual storyteller, edgewalker and ocean advocate whose work rewilds perception and deepens our connection to nature through awe-filled, impact-driven storytelling. A neurodivergent being with a sixth-sense connection to the natural world, Rebecca blends science, myth and intuition to illuminate nature's messages and messengers. Featured by National Geographic, NASA and Dryrobe, Rebecca is a visionary force shaping how we see, feel and act for people and planet through purpose-led visual storytelling.

Isabelle Doran: CEO of the Association of Photographers

Isabelle Doran is CEO of the Association of Photographers, representing over 3,000 members, Vice-Chair of the Creators’ Rights Alliance, Board Director of the British Copyright Council, and RSA Fellow. The AOP is also a member of Creative UK and Creators’ Rights Alliance. Isabelle's creative industry career, spanning almost 30 years, began at Tony Stone Picture Library (now Getty Images), before working at Magnum Photos, Luminous Design, and Conran. Representing photographers’ interests as freelance creators, Isabelle’s policy work has largely focused on copyright, and AI more recently, particularly generative-AI’s impact on the creative industries and the professional creator community.

Hat Margolies: Photographic Agent and Director of Lucid Representation

Hat has been working in photography one way or another for over 25 years. A temp job in a photo library led to over 10 years commissioning photography for editorial shoots on national magazines and newspapers, and then in 2008, she set up representation and production agency, Lucid  Representation. The role of an agent is key in this increasingly competitive market; the protective layer between client and photographer; someone who deal with the nitty gritty details while the  photographer concentrates on the creative work.

Sujata Setia: Photographer

Sujata Setia is a lens-based interdisciplinary artist whose work focuses on social justice and gender-based violence. Her practice sits at the intersection of  photography, research, and community collaboration, and has been exhibited internationally. She is the recipient of the Wellcome Photography Prize, Sony World Photography Award (Creative Category) and the Centre for British Photography Project Realisation Grant amongst others. Through her work and public engagements, she shares practical insights into building ethical visibility, institutional recognition, and sustainable pathways for photographers working across social, editorial, and exhibition contexts.
