This is a special International Women's Day event exclusively for women and female-identifying attendees
Great portraits don't need complexity - just connection. Join us for a taster session with the FUJIFILM School, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
In this session, we'll strip it back to the essentials: lighting, honest moments and the art of seeing people as they are. Learn how to capture personality and story without overcomplicating your setup. Whether you're using one light or none at all, it's about mastering the basics - and making them powerful.
No advanced knowledge of lighting is required, but an understanding of camera fundamentals is recommended. This includes working in manual exposure mode, with a command of aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
Each guest will leave the workshop with their own headshot, that can be used to enhance their personal brand.
Who will be joining you?
This workshop will be lead by Imogen Forte, an award-winning London-based photographer. Imogen started out as a copywriter and art director but as soon as she bought a camera she became hooked. Her work started winning awards and gaining coverage and within a year she’d quit her job to focus on photography full time. Her work is driven by an interest in people and She looks for beautiful moments in everyday life and seeks out connection with her subjects. She cut her teeth as a street photographer and, apart from a month long Magnum scholarship in Milan, she remains completely self-taught.
