Celebrate the artistry of Easter food photography and styling in Suze Morrison’s food photography masterclass, hosted at the FUJIFILM House of Photography in Covent Garden, London.

This is an immersive food photography workshop suited to anyone who wants to capture food in a meaningful way through the medium of photography. From content creators and food bloggers to chefs and professional photographers, this is the workshop for you.

Who will be joining you?

Leading the masterclass will be Suze Morrison — qualified chef, mixologist, food photographer, and IICCT Level 2 Master Chocolate Taster.

With a background in the Biological Sciences, Suze combines her understanding of food science with a love for seasonal ingredients and natural light. Her work is heavily defined by a fine-art approach to food photography, with each image telling a story about nature and nourishment.

When she’s not shooting or styling gorgeous culinary dishes, she can be found foraging with her Romanian rescue dog, Peanut, gathering wild herbs and ingredients for her next creation.

What can you expect from this workshop?

Under Suze’s watchful eye, you’ll spend the day learning how to style, shoot, and edit Easter-themed dishes and bakes with intention. It’s an Easter food photography class that will encourage you to tell stories through your food imagery.

This food styling workshop comprises hands-on learning as well as artistic theory. You’ll spend the day exploring how to style food with emotion, all while celebrating the beauty of Easter cooking.

What you’ll learn

1.    The Art of Seeing

This workshop begins with a gentle exploration of light — natural, directional, diffused — and how to harness its beauty to breathe life into your images. You’ll learn how to read a scene, spot the perfect shadows, and understand composition through a storyteller’s lens.

2.    Styling with Soul

We’ll uncover the secrets of styling food to evoke emotion, seasonality, and texture. You’ll explore Easter-themed props, backgrounds, and botanical elements to build rich, layered scenes.

3.    Hands-On Shooting

This is where the magic happens. With guided, step-by-step support, you’ll style and shoot a scene using professional techniques.

4.    Storytelling Through Imagery

We’ll talk about how to shape a visual narrative — from single shots to cohesive series — and how to create content that resonates with your personal or professional brand through meaning, memory, and mood.

5.    Editing Techniques

In this food styling class, you’ll also be guided through Suze’s post-processing workflow using tools like Capture One, helping you achieve that painterly, nostalgic aesthetic while preserving the integrity of your subject.
