Gaze upon the wonders of the Lake District and learn about the intricacies of landscape photography with Carl Hare — FUJIFILM UK Product Specialist.

Before we share the details of our landscape photography workshop, let’s get to know more about the photography guide who will be accompanying you on this exciting event in the Lake District.

Carl Hare

Carl Hare is a Fujifilm UK Product Specialist and Freelance Photographer based in Hampshire, UK. Carl started out his photography life as a wedding and event photographer but has since expanded his photographic skills into many genres. Carl has a great passion for the outdoors and has been teaching photography courses and workshops on many different genres of photography since 2014.

These days Carl is just as comfortable shooting headshots in a studio, teaching lighting techniques for portraits, as he is on the streets of London or shooting landscapes and wildlife in the depths of winter in the Arctic.

Please do contact us on or call us on 0203 486 4610 if there is anything you want to try. We will try our very best to accommodate you.

As the UK weather is so unpredictable, be sure to pack weather-appropriate clothing, wear comfortable shoes, and take a bottle of water and snacks to keep you going. Though we will have a designated break time to rest, catch up and reset, there will be a lot of walking and time spent outside.

The physical intensity level for this workshop is low to moderate. The path to the lake is paved but does have some potholes. The path around the lake is gravel and does have some lumps and bumps. There is no hard access or hard routes around the lake. There are some wet and slippery rocks at Surprise View and Ashness Bridge, but the walk down is short and not steep.

Your workshop leaders are fully First Aid Trained for outdoor activities and will always carry a full First Aid kit.
