Life As You See It Competition 2025

Where your vision, not your skill, matters most

The magic of our "Life as you see it" competition comes to life during events like our recent celebration night, where we gathered with all the shortlisted talent to celebrate their unique perspectives and creativity. Photography isn’t just about technical precision or the tools we use—it’s about capturing the beauty in the unexpected, finding joy or stillness in a fleeting moment, and showcasing how life looks through your eyes. Our ‘Life as you see it’ competition is a celebration of those distinct viewpoints. Celebrating all those moments that were worthy enough for you to press the shutter. Here’s to the incredible talent and inspiring stories we witnessed together!

Competition Overview

Since we’re interested in how you see all parts of life, there are no rules about what youtake pictures of or how you take them. This is your story to tell.

We were blown away by the incredible response to this year’s competition, receiving hundreds of stunning entries that showcased how you see and interpret the world. Out of those, only 92 images were shortlisted, each offering a unique glimpse into a moment, a feeling, or a story worth sharing.

From those 92, three exceptional winners were selected by our judges Jemella Ukaegbu (UKBFTOG), Oli Wheeldon, and Mr. Whisper, each awarded a special prize like the FUJIFILM X half. These winning images captured something truly extraordinary, standing out for their creativity, perspective, and emotional impact.

1st Place: Richard Murray

2nd Place: Fabien Butazzi

3rd Place: Gracie Brackstone

Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their vision with us. Whether you used a digital camera, film camera, Instax™ camera, or even your mobile phone, every image reminded us of the beauty and diversity in how we all see the world. Congratulations again to our shortlisted and winning photographers!

I think photography is a way on connecting with other humans. And connecting with people and be able to see things, that maybe you wouldn’t have seen before.
