Carl Hare pairs creative experience with technical know-how as a freelance photographer and Fujifilm UK product specialist. His photography spans many genres, and while his professional roots trace back to weddings, Carl is equally adept at studio portraiture, street, macro, landscapes and wildlife. Keen to share his wealth of knowledge, Carl has delivered photography workshops for close to a decade. His passion for the outdoors is a constant source of inspiration, and when he can combine it with his teaching skills, there’s simply nothing better – for him and his students.

This leisurely photowalk through London is designed for any photographer that wants to get out and about with their camera. For any type of photographer; from beginner to advanced. Get coaching and advice on every part of image making from camera settings, composition, story telling, looking at light.
A selection of Fujifilm cameras and lenses will be available to try on the day, plus a small selection of 3 Legged Thing tripods and Kase filters. You’re welcome to bring your own Fujifilm set-up, including any preferred lenses, spare batteries, tripods and memory cards. ND and graduated ND filters, along with a cable release, will also come in handy.
If you’d prefer to have your own selected equipment, you can arrange a free, 48-hour Try Before You Buy loan in advance.
As the UK weather is so unpredictable, be sure to pack weather-appropriate clothing, wear comfortable shoes, and take a bottle of water and snack to keep you going.
11:30 – 12:15: Meet at the House of Photography, brief introductions, H&S briefing etc
12:15: Leave House of Photography, London Photowalk route
17:30: Arrive back at House of Photography, debrief & questions

Coaching on every aspect of photography, camera or photography settings, coaching in composition, story telling, looking at light etc.
Tickets do not include any expenses, train fares, lunch, taxi fares, parking charges, etc unless otherwise stated.
Once you have purchased a ticket, your place on the day will be reserved. If circumstances change and you need to cancel your place, please let us know 10 working days before the event and we will be happy to issue you a refund in full. Places cancelled after this time are non-refundable. You need to be at least 18 years of age to take part in this event and a disclaimer form will need to be completed on the day in order to take part in the day’s activity.
